Country Fair End of Season Party
June 29, 2024 at the Conways
The Powder Dogs had a country fair on the riverbanks of the beautiful Fox River. We wore blue jean shorts, plaid shirts, straw hats, and listened to country music. Some types of food found at Country fairs consist of corndogs, chili dogs with cheese, hot dogs, corn on the cob, walking tacos, chips, funnel cakes, ice cream sundaes and popcorn. We found many of these country fair favorites at the party.
Who doesn't like a good party? Our annual banquet combined with our June meeting. Start time is 3 pm and will be at Jeannie and Jim Conway’s home in Algonquin on the Fox River. We are having BBQ from the Texan, for our cowboy western theme! If you are a paid member you get an invite with directions.
