2018 CMSC Steamboat Trip

The Dulaney Condos are located at the base of the Steamboat, and by the gondola for ski-in/walk-to-gondola access and later to the shops, restaurants & nightlife of Gondola Square. The 2 bedroom condominiums include a fully equipped kitchen, gas-burning fireplace, complimentary high-speed internet access, private patio or deck and an in unit washer/dryer. Enjoy complimentary personal ski valet service and storage. Indulge yourself in Dulany’s modern outdoor hot tubs, or relax with friends and family around the community fire-pit.

• 7 nights lodging in a two bedroom two bath at The Bronze Tree Condos.
• 5 one day lift tickets.
• Welcome evening reception party with drinks and snacks.
• Final group dinner.

This trip had all the ingredients for a great time. Conditions were very good. Not a lot of snow but enough to cover the slopes and have fun. There was slope side condo lodging in a two bedroom / two bath condo with fully equipped kitchen, stereo w/CD, cable TV/DVD, HBO, and private balcony. There was also an outdoor hot tub and indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub. The slopes were only a block walking distance but you can ski back and 41 people went between the Powder Dogs and Snowseekers.

• 5 oneday lift tickets.
• Welcome evening reception, evening parties with drinks and snacks.
• Nastar race with a mountain picnic.
• Pub crawl.
• Friday night farewell dinner at top of gondola with music and dancing.

We had great snow conditions all week for trip. It snowed over 50" the week before and almost 30" the week we were there. Our Tuesday Nastar race was over cast and then turned windy and snowy. The two fastest racers for the Nastar race was our Powder Dogs Joey and Joe Keen. Temps stayed mainly in the teens and 20's so the snow stayed good all week.

Accommodations were two bedroom condos with indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The slopes were a short one block walking distance to the slopes. The Friday night farewell party was held in the restaurant at the top of the gondola. The restaurant was decorated better than some wedding receptions we've seen with more than enough to eat and drink. Dancing was also available.

Everyone had a great trip.
