When: February 24th through March 3rd 2014
Where: Big Horn Condos, Big Sky MT

Trip included: 7 nights lodging, 5 oneday lift tickets good at one of the largest mountains for ski and boarding, a welcome evening reception party, 2 evening after ski parties with drinks and snacks. A Nastar type race with an on mountain picnic lunch. A Thursday dinner party with music, dancing, awards, and prizes.

About the trip; The trip had a few transportation challenges. On the way to Big Sky, there was not enough room on the plane for all the luggage. Seems skiers carry a lot of luggage. Many members didn't receive their gear until the following day while some didn't get it until 3 days later.

Things were worse on the way back. The plane couldn't reach the gate because planes were there. By the time the plane got to the gate, the pilots time limit was over and canceled the flight. Clubs members were put up in hotels overnight and got back on Sunday. Some early and some not until late Sunday night.

But the skiing was great. Big Sky received fresh snow just a few days before the club arrived giving wonderful conditions. The biggest comments were NO lift lines, GREAT scenery, and GOOD food! Jim Conway won a gold medal and Lynn Creegan won a silver medal in the CMSC club challenge. Congrats to both. Jim had the fastest time of the 150+ racers and carried on the tradition of having a Powder Dog having the fastest time 3 years in a row.
